Frequent cannabis users do not white out Sandy.(or very rarely) It is usually the novice user who ODs with THC intoxication especially if using the skunk varieties if not careful. THe term whiteout is usualy used to describe the almost instant collapse and faint after the colour drains from the face of the unwary. Can be very dangerous if vomiting or falling into flames or water or banging the head whilst collapsing.

Clearly not.

Definitely not Sandy. But an addicted cannabis smoker can get similar withdrawel symptoms to the DTs. They will get irratable, bad tempered, anxious, fidgety and panic ridden. Cannabis is no substitute for alcohol. It is just as dangerous if not treated with the utmost care and suspician. It is also unregulated with no indication of potency.

Are these symptoms reactions to the withdrawal of cannabis or tobacco? - I suspect the latter.

None of the times that I withdrew from tobacco did I get those symptoms at all (now non-smoking since 1984).

As an ex-smoker I can relate to all of them, having tried to stop several times - I hated smoking and was fortunately able to give up after being hospitalised for something unrelated.

they have been at it for years - -  altho people who start on 'skunk' may well just have one go ( terrible experience)not many of them here either

i think the term used these days is "whitey" as in Look at Baz he is throwing a whitey.

I don't smoke anymore but i am partial to a gummy. Now they are strong. You are not doing much after one of them.
