Ok, still no progress on this - it may take a while.....

Twix has either grabbed an early night or is still partying at the pub 😃

I'll check back shortly 🙂

Hi Steff. I was neither in the pub or hit the hay yet! Instead I've been grappling with Friday's Telegraph Cryptic Crossword this evening, which was a right ***!!  Now for the clues:

19a. The cry of a snipe when flushed; the snipe itself; an old word for a getaway, slip or transgression; a suffix indicating a scene, as in land, moon or sea; or, the leafless flower stem of the amaryllis, chives, garlic or tulip, e.g. (5)

1d. A gesture or symbol conveying a meaning; a division of the zodiac; or, a board marking an inn, pub or shop (4)

22d. Inanimate object with a back, legs and often arms; or, a professorship (5)

24d. An air, hunt's-up, light-o'-love or melody, such as that figuratively changed when one rethinks (4)
