I recently asked for advice about my PC freezing after windows update.
I followed your detailed advice using the "command prompt" system.
Computer took some time to go through all files and eventually reported that corrupted files had been repaired.
All now seems to be working perfectly.
No more freezes so far.
I'm absolutely delighted.
