I Found A 'Left Handed' Corkscrew In A Charity Shop This Morning.

I recognised it because I have a relatively modern one. The one I've just bought is nothing special, the thread has a counter clockwise spiral, and the handle is dark wood.

I think the correct term is 'worm' rather than thread.
You could try. Lord only knows what a collector of anticlockwise corkscrews would offer. But I'd not hold my breath for affording that new yacht that you have your eye on.
Are left handers allowed to drink wine? Well I never!
