Who here thinks it’s right that sports people are now taking a knee before events like F1, football and tennis matches, etc? Is this something that is expected to continue forevermore now? If so, why? I can’t help thinking that nobody dare try and stop it, and any unwilling sports people would be too fearful of criticism, maybe worse, if they don’t do it. What do you reckon?
I was hoping THEBLIP would answer my question as he wrote, "that nobody dare try and stop it, and any unwilling sports people would be too fearful of criticism, maybe worse"
Since August 2016, some American athletes have protested against police brutality and racism by kneeling on one knee during the U.S. national anthem. ... The act itself has become widely referred to as taking a knee or taking the knee and this is for stoping racism
have a nice day and stop racism.
