Would you be disappointed in the size of engagement ring your man had chosen or would you just be happy that the man you love wants to marry you? Personally mine could propose to me with a hula hoop and I'd be happy. Why are people so rude and catty?

my son (then aged 4) gave me a ring out of a xmas cracker and asked me to marry him,i have still got it,pride of place in my jewelery box, that was 27 years ago,(he's still single)
Spath, the quality of the stone was amazing as clean and blue white as I have ever seen about the size of a kidney bean. Let's say £ 20,000 would be nearer.

Instagram (and other social media sites) are teeming with cyber-cowards just waiting to fulfill their tiny lives with an outpouring of bile and belittlement, so if you publish world-wide you can hardly complain of the consequences. Sad state for society to get into though.

Of course you want your life partner to wear a ring she loves- it's like choosing a new nose- she's going to be wearing it for the rest of her life (all being well!) so as long as she is delighted I couldn't give a monkeys what anyone/everyone else thinks about it.
Love the man, love the ring it's simple.
