1 year ago the nation declared it's wish to free itself from Tyranny. Many have done their best to thwart the democratic will of the majority, they have failed, the process has started.

yes, I did think remain would win but they didn't, so what? I thought Hilary would win too!
Wow. Could you please think that Brexit will be watered down and a failure, please ?
I suspect there will be trouble if we do!
Freedom from tyranny :-)
I'm sure that was said tongue in cheek.
A poll published today shows more people think we were wrong to leave than think the opposite, so I'm not sure the atmo is quite going to match VE Day, the end of the Berlin Wall or the fall of Ceaucescu
so it has, whoopdedoo.
I know 1 year, and so much achieved so far !!!!

anne:- "I know 1 year, and so much achieved so far !!!! " that's because of all your anti democracy mates. I'd have cancelled the DD and been gone the next day.
Gosh - did you tell them that's all that was needed.

Would have saved some time.
I despair more and more that we'll ever get out !
anne, according to the FT, in the past year: sterling's fallen from about $1.55 to $1.25, inflation's up from 0.5% to 2.9%, GDP growth has fallen from 0.6% to a flat-looking 0.2%, but fewer emigrants are coming here and more are leaving (that figure's only up to the end of last year).

So it's all action already, and still a couple of exciting years to come!

I raise a glass to 23/6/16 and will fight in every way I know to ensure Britain
makes a triumphal and friendly exit (bit perturbed by all the youngsters still mithering - youngest sprog included).

If thwarted, I can't imagine the trouble ensuing ---it would be bad. Civil war - town vs. country; North v South basis. Unthinkable.
Jourdain, can I have a glass of whatever it is that you are drinking!.and drink to 23/6/17 , we are still IN!.
we are still IN!.

For the time being.
Gulliver clearly expected an instantaneous Brexit. Perhaps TTT’s given her Best Answer to give the rest of us a laugh. :o)

BA was most likely a charitable gesture, only her 6th since 2007
