Tonight's HIGNFY Host Kirsty Young most annoying with those glasses on off on off very distracting why doesn't she just keep them on if she can't read spoiled tonight's episode for me!

I would think she needs glasses to see long distance to read the autocue, but she's not able to read from her cards without them. Or vice versa.

She's not the only one - Andrew Neill, David Dimbleby, Kirsty Wark....
They all pull their glasses off to look into the camera so it's on and off every few seconds. I used to think it was something to do with dazzle but I reckon it's just vanity because their guests don't seem to do it....

They should give the presenter a script in large print.

I often feel these presenters have no input into what is to be said, they just read a script.

I would be exactly the same as I need reading glasses for close work and would take them off to see an autocue. The alternative is to drop thm to the end of her nose and look over them like an old school Ma'am - which she is not!

Loved, just loved Patrick Stewart. I thought he made a great job of it.
