The same tactic deployed against Israel, to show disapproval of their ongoing occupation of The West Bank, is to be made illegal for public bodies and student unions.

There are no sanctions against Israel because the US has power of veto in the UN, and frequently uses it to protect Israel. Which means Israel can commit atrocities, human rights abuses, genocide, and assasinations without any risk of prosecution.

Probably. But that's politics for you.
Maybe, but I think you are comparing apples and pears.
local councils are staffed civil servants...they should serve the people they take taxes from not be mouthpieces for left wing ideology...they have no business getting involved with israeli politics, none whatsover....
^I agree.

bazwillrun, and student unions?
student unions also have no business poking their noses in...another bunch infiltrated and infected by the hard left...luckily some of them grow out of it once the real world smacks them in the face and they leave uni..
^But, curiously, some of them never grow up.
True, and get worse...
