I may have to disappear from this post for a while cos I've been told to expect him anytime between 10 + 12. This will be his 3rd visit, and the 1st time he wanted us to go in the bedroom and had me doing some exercises lying on the bed.
I wasn't comfortable with that, so last week when he wanted to see me do the exercises, I dropped to the floor in the living room and started them.He said. "Oh, you want to do them here?"
I've no idea what the protocol is for phsios ;) x x

I had a home visit once from an NHS physio, but mine was a woman and we did exercises in the bedroom. Mine were back exercises and it was a good thing I was wearing pyjama bottoms as she had me in the most intimate positions!!!!!!

They will be quite used to working in people’s bedrooms, some of their patients will be room bound and not able to leave the bedroom.
I worked in a community rehab team for many years, helping people to manage their daily activities independently. To us a bedroom is just the room you sleep in with no subtext. make sure you have put the Ann Summers toys away though!

Lol at Woofgang + Ann Summers ;) All was fine,...we did a bit on the living room floor, then he said "let's go to the bedroom + try out a few different exercises" and it all went smoothly :)
Your reply put my mind at rest, Woofgang, thanks.
Hiya Shaz, you doing ok? ;)

Bath if it's NHS physic he / she will not be a pervert trying to get you into bed or seeing you in underwear, it's not like a first date but a proffesional relationship, don't get stressed about it
Perhaps he wanted to see your etchings and naturally assumed you kept them in your bedroom ?

Ok, so I'm resurrecting this, I know, but for the last 2 visits, he's had a female student with him, so the bedroom issue didn't arise, (no giggling there at the back), but he told me last week that was the last time I'd see the student and it would be just him.
Have just found myself saying on the phone to a friend, "I'd better go now + tidy the bedroom ready for the physio "......and she couldn't believe it. Help, I'm all of a dither again, and yes, I'm probably old enough to be his Mother and then some, but even so.....should I dig my heels in? (which sounds quite like one of exercises, as it happens ;)
