Yelp is a user review and social network application that lets users rate services, businesses and products that they have used.

Essentially a “social reviewing platform”, Yelp gives users a quick and easy way to find out what other like-minded consumers think of certain products and services.

This means that users can find out about a product just before they buy it, rather than having to purchase it to find out if it is any good.
