Shazam is a much talked about application available on a number of smartphones, including the iPhone and Blackberry.

Shazam is a service that enables users to identify songs they can’t remember the name, year or artist of.

By simply activating the application and holding the phone near to the source of the music, Shazam will begin to identify the song, giving the user as much information on the song as possible.
