How do you stop the built-in spell checker putting a red line under the 'th' in things like '20th'? I've tried 'Add to dictionary', but it has no affect.

I'm testing that with this posting and it seems that if you separate the 20 and the th and then add to dictionary before joining the two together again to form 20th it recognises it thereafter - at least it seems to work for me.

Please explain in detail, how do you join together? backspace?

Thanks Bibblehub, great idea! I'll test it out next time I try Google Chrome.

Carlton - Bibblehub means type '20 th', right-click 'th', choose 'Add to dictionary', then delete the space to make '20th'. '20th' will no longer be marked as a spelling mistake, and neither will 4th, 5th, 6th etc.

It seems rather careless of them to release it with a spell checker like that. Even more surprising is that 'Google' is marked as a spelling mistake.
