i checked on the Kaspersky icon and they are indeed updating again. would it be best to contact Kaspersky as i don't think this is right and maybe causing problems with pc being slow.
Where do you get a pop up emmie? On your desktop, or on a website?

Ignore the one on a website.
Question Author
on the desktop screen to the right hand side, it just pops up says databases are out of date then drops out, but come back again and again.
Question Author
hope that makes sense, not too up with these things
Hi Emmie, that sounds fine (i.e. the message is real).

I would check that you've not got multiple versions of it running, and that you've not got conflicting paid/free versions installed?
If you are sure that they are up-to-date then the Kaspersky customer service is quite good at trying to solve issues. Contact them at their site and raise a ticket.

OG easier said than done, I looked at their website its complicated trying to find a contact e mail or even phone number for them.
If you want Kaspersky just open a Barclays account, a basic savings account with £1 in it will do, and register it for online banking.
Barclays offer free Kaspersky to all online customers to protect their accounts. You can have up to 3 devices registered for one bank account. It is completely free as long as the account is open. You only need to keep £1 in it to keep it open and you get all Kaspersky updates for free !
Question Author
i already have Kaspersky and a Barclays account.
called Kaspersky and they ran some programme to see if the reason my pc is so slow was down to the Kaspersky, and its not that so it seems.
also why it keep on sending these pop up boxes, was told essentially to ignore them..
