As far as I was concerned I did NOT sign up to Amazon prime but whatever has happened I must have done so as they have taken £79.99 out of my account.

I do not use Amazon enough and I want to cancel this membership. I did go into cancellation form but it was stating "what order do you want to cancel". I believe I have 14 days but want this thing stopped immediately. Thanks for any replies.

thanks HC - I done that - end membership etc but didn't complete it as it said you will be refunded £7.99 instead of £79.99. Can you suggest anything more. Thanks
Are you sure you were debited £79.99? Check again. It is either £79 for 12 months or £7.99 a month

TWR - thanks - I suspect contacting them by phone would take ages and so I wouldn't like to ask them.

However as per HC's help I have emailed them and so hope I get a good outcome.
Are you sure you were not on a free trial , which came to an end and you are now paying the fee on a monthly basis - the first payment been taken out of your account - hence it saying that you will be refunded the first payment of £7.99 ?
Jenny, I have contacted Amazon by phone on several occasions and I have always got through straight away,and the are always helpful.
if you dont click do not renew membership after a free trial they will take out 1 years subscription £79 it does state this clearly enough

turned out to be more like a winter vomiting bug..on the plus side have lost a bit of weight !! will tell HC if I see him xx
