I have been trying to post a BBC Iplayer link on another thread, but it isn't working.

Is there a special technique to do this on AB please ?

When you open the iPlayer page, beneath the programme box to the right are some options. Click "Share This Link" - that will open a small pop-up box with "Copy this link" - C & P that link here & it should work. This is the "Mock the Week" from the 1st page of this thread - http://bbc.in/ZgSUeH

the bbc licence agreement changed recently so that you can no longer watch catchup without a licence. I suspect this is part of the move towards that.

The Licence to which Quoi has made reference, is the normal TV Licence. Although I fail to appreciate how the Licencing Authority is going to know if you are watching 'catch-up' TV on a computer/laptop/tablet, etc.

Now to your 'problem' mikey........There is Not any special technique to copy and paste into AB a link to an iPlayer page. Just do as normal. If it doesn't work it could suggest that there is something wrong with your equipment.

^^^ Now that really has surprised me because I am able to put the link in an e/mail and send it wherever I wish,and it works for the recipient.

I am now thinking that perhaps we have a problem with AB.
