Firefox seems to have updated itself or done something and the Firefox page is different. It doesn`t have the history/bookmarks etc drop down symbol on the top left. It has a new set of icons on the top right. How do I get back to the old Firefox? (windows 8)

i had the same problem this morning i played about with the things on the right and now have my bookmarks etc at the top left of my screen but no firefox logo

some tech person will be able to help you get it back
Right-click in the grey band at the top of the screen and then tick "menu bar"
frustrating isn't it, why can't they do updates without changing the theme of the page? ... bookmarks icon has changed from a star to what looks like a clipboard for whatever reason
if you right click on the icon that is next to the star will that allow you put your bookmarks in the toolbar

Thanks for the replies and thanks bhg. That has worked. I would probably get used to the new design. I use the bookmarks menu quite a lot but the new one (the little clipboard) doesn`t have "bookmark this page" on it which is a bit annoying.
sorry bit slow getting photo uploaded
