Nokia N95 8GB display flickering.

My Nokia N95 8GB's screen display is flickering on an off at times when using the slider. What could be the problem?

The ribbon cable that connects the screen to the main part of the phone is either making a bad connection or has a break in it.

To be honest, it's not the sort of repair you can attempt yourself unless you have to correct tools and are very confident in taking apart very very small electronic devices, best bet is take to a phone shop or the guy on the market and get them to look at it.
