I have a friend, a landscape gardener, who is finding he is increasingly losing his Vodaphone signal.

As it would be a big upheaval if he had to change his number, is it possible for him to change to a different network, yet still retain his existing number?

He needs to find out which network gives the best coverage in his area before commiting to a new contract with a new supplier.

He can leave his current network and retain his number by requsting a PAC code. There may well be a charge for this if he is still within a contract.
