Three minutes to go and a triple substitution for the Glums.

I know my timing looks out, but the feed is erratic.
This is getting just as popular as JJ's netball threads.
Question Author
There is at least one other person who supports the Blues on here. Glentoran equalised in 90th minute but Linfield scored in 92nd. My nerves are wrecked.

Blow that bloody whistle.
Question Author
All over, 3-2 Linfield.
Well.......I enjoyed it while it lasted, Duncer.
Question Author
I can't say I enjoyed the experience, just the result.

What a finish?

Hoodoo broken.
What competition was that in? County Antrim Shield? See you on Sky Sports 1 on 22 October Duncer!!.
Well done Linfield - my team over the waves
Question Author
It was indeed the largely irrelevant County Antrim Shield, but any win over the Glums is always welcome.

Oran Kearney is doing a wonderful job up there and, if Coleraine can stay injry free, then I can see a title win. Cliftonville will also figure strongly and Glentoran will be a lot closer this year too. One of the tightest leagues in years, and that can only be a good thing.
I'll have a few cans of Guinness at the ready for the Sky game. Next best thing to being there ...
I wasn't belittling the Co Antrim Shield btw - we after all have the North West Cup (!). It;s just I knew it couldn't have been a league game as they played the other week.
Question Author
But it is largely irrelevant; I suspect a large numbner of Bluemen only went last night because it was the Glens.

I'll be joining you in spirit for the Sky game.

Are you Scotland based? If do then a few of us "ex-pats" are heading to Glasgow v Ulster for a few beers and the game.
No sadly! The tragedy of it is I could - had I been young free and single - have toddled over the Severn Bridge to Cardiff for Friday's Ulster Day demolition of the other Blues. That was another "with them in spirit in front of the telly" - flicking between BBC NI and BBC Wales coverage :-)
Question Author
That was probably one of the greatest Ulster performances I have ever had the pleasure to watch.
