Champion's League

Does anyone out there know whether - if Chelsea do not win the Champion's League final - they take the ploace of the fourth British team in the premiership and therefore have to pre-qualify or whether they to into one of the first trhee places so that Arsenal have to pre-qualify? Thanks.

Thanks to all for your answers. I had been misinformed that if Chelsea won the final this year it would push everyone down one and Arsenal would have to pre-qualify in place of Spurs. Thanks again.
