Darwinism finches beaks and the Pepper moth are given as just two examples of evolution.
No, they changed minutely by natural selection to maximise their environment, and if they couldn't they would die out. But they remain moths and finches, the same KIND as the Bible says.
Animal species become extinct all the time because they CANNOT evolve to integrate with their new environment.
Is there just one example of one species changing into another?
Apart from me after a few pints.

A few weeks ago, evolutionists and myself shared disagreements on the missing definition of species especially among the scientific community. This discussion, once again, highlights the confusion that reigns without any consensus on such a definition. Strangely, we see the venerable Stephen Jay Gould's banner raised as an epitome of evolutionary...

I sometimes thing Religion And Spirituality should be renamed Evolution And Natural Selection.
There does not seem much room on here for the likes of me.
Ah well. Onwards and upwards.
You asked the question Theland, at least it is more meaningful than squabbling over polytheism versus monotheism. To resolve that issue would be a masterpiece of archaeology/palaeontology.
Before you shuffle off would you care to comment on my prequel to rubbishing Meyer? After all, you did write 'If you rubbish him with evidence, I would accept that.'
THELAND, how many years ago was Man created by the Intelligent Designer?
Question Author
Have you rubbished Meyer?
You say you have, but how can I judge?
How many scientists in the past have been in the minority and time has proven them correct?
When I get my degree in cell biology, I.T. systems etc, I'll make the judgement.
In the meantime, I have to look at the expertise available and decide.
Forgive me for that.
Question Author
Corby, how would I know?
My name is Theland, not Mystic Meg.
Erm.....that's exactly what I've done. And I didn't say I'd rubbished Meyer, I said I'd done a prequel to rubbishing him. I hope you studied the bible in more detail. I raised a few points which I thought you might like to try and shoot down in flames. You now seem to be throwing the hat in,,saying the subject is too difficult for you to understand.
Do you you believe it is tens of thousands of years, hundreds of thousands or a couple of million for example?
Question Author
I would say when a date was established for home sapiens, I would drink to that.
Good job my salvation does not depend on it.
So you cannot hazard a guess?
Question Author
Neck on the block then, a million years at most, fifty thousand at least.
Still not convinced of six thousand, but again, I won't get kicked out of heaven for a wrong answer. Or do you know something and not cracking on?
Based on fossil evidence, does that mean the Intelligent Designer created the various creatures millions of years before creating Man and if so why was there so long a gap?
Question Author
Too many holes in the fossil evidence imho and faults found with carbon / radio dating etc.
but hey, this is sidetracking.
Here, have a winners medal.
I asked this question already but you didn't answer it, why was Man not created with the intelligence we have now?
I think that struggling to justify the bible on scientific grounds shows a lack of belief....and will result in god's vanity being offended...be afraid. :-)
Corbyloon, "I asked this question already but you didn't answer it, why was Man not created with the intelligence we have now?" is such an incomprehensible question. Do you mean, rather, "Why didn't God create man with the knowledge he has now?" The answer to that, of course is because knowledge is increasing day by day... whereas, intelligence is the ability to assimilate knowledge and there's no evidence that God didn't create man with intelligence that could have assimilated the knowledge we have today, given enough time...

There's no evidence that God created anything, full stop.
CLANAD you say my question is incomprehensible yet you answered it so you must have understood it.
/whereas, intelligence is the ability to assimilate knowledge /
No it isn't, it is the ability to use knowledge and to have curiosity and to look for patterns and relationships and to ask questions, just for starters. A computer can assimilate knowledge without displaying the least sign of having intelligence.
// Strangely, we see the venerable Stephen Jay Gould's banner raised as an epitome of evolutionary defense, however… this is the guy that proposed Punctuated Equilibrium as the most logical substitution to the usual Darwinian examples.//

not strange at all.
one of his books is a standard text on evo-devo at uni

Gould said his theories were so different to Darwin they should be renamed erm after Gould
Others dont
