I was just about to pick a lucky dip for tomorrow night but it's unavailable.

Just the luck of the draw, Sandy. :-)

That says it all really. ^ ☺
I want to know why, when I buy a lucky dip, does it no longer show the LD next to the numbers? Am I getting somebody else's numbers? as that defeats the object.
Question Author
I've just bought a ticket. Numbers are 9, 12, 22, 43, 44. Lucky stars are 4, 10. To the right of the line of numbers it says lucky dip. I don't think a lucky dip is unique. There could be people with the same numbers.
Cheers Sandy. :-)
that would be really annoying if you had to share 70 odd million with some other lucky blighter
Question Author
I wouldn't mind sharing it with one or two. If I thought there'd be more than that sharing I'd have to reconsider buying tickets.
i read about someone who decided to change from their regular numbers and buy a lucky dip instead and it gave them their regular numbers :-)
I was checking my emails yesterday morning at about two. I got a letter from the Lottery to say I had won something, I toddled off to the Lottery site only to find it shut for the night.

Why send the email out and then leave the person totally in the dark about the size of the prize?

In anticipation of a large amount of money heading my way I went off to see what houses were for sale in my area.

wolf, i'm guessing it was as tenner or less :-(
I am trying to remember what it was - it could have been less than a fiver.

2 numbers on the €uro lottery, about 50/-?
Don't bother with the Euro Millions tonight - Its got my name on it
I saw this and opened an account Fri. Does one get an e=mail alert if you win anything. I did lucky dips.
yes Svejk
cheers ael. that's not much fun unless you win something, is it. Never mind.
I got another email this morning (about 2) and had to wait until getting-up time to find out about my winnings (£2).

One day it will be me! One day I will be able to afford to buy a flat that actually meets the needs of me and the kitties.
don't forget your little cat-minder. ;o)
As I understand it, a lucky dip is not a random number produced by the Lotto computer. It's merely a selection from the half dozen or so numbers entered into the terminal by previous buyers of tickets!
