Hi. Can someone tell me the best way to stick back the plastic body trims that are half way up the doors on a Fiesta Mk IV. I tried a resin glue that you mix but it didn't really do it even though I thoroughly cleaned the area first. What do Ford use ? is there a product specially for it ?
TIA

That is excellent stuff, Prudie. The main dealer body shop used that to fit the roof spoiler on my car.
I agree with Prudies OH.
All surfaces must be spotless, no residue of other glues, dust, wax, etc, thinners for the final clean. Use masking tape to hold the trim in position while the sikaflex (urethane) cures. Sikaflex doesn't harden completely, stays flexible.
Hope you have a successful outcome.

Thanks to all for their answers, I think I'll try the Masterix tape first because I'll probably get adhesive on the paintwork which wouldn't be good.
If you have a local independent bodyshop, they might give you a strip of their double sided foam for some beer tokens. :-)
