My news channels have all been reset into 100s channels, ie Skynews used to be 82 but now its 132. Have reset my box, alas no change.

You need to retune today and if you have a DVD recorder with a Freeview tuner, you need to retune that as well.
Yes Sky News from 82 to 132
Question Author
"...Viewers who don’t retune will not lose channels – services will remain accessible at their old numbers....." that's a fib as I lost newsys on old numbers.

Hope Freeview reward you Hopkirk for informing me on their behalf, thanx

Freeview, Sky News, 82, now, no probs

Fair do's, just had message to retune now 132
Question Author
where do most get their info. I must be in Mars coz Freeview dont bother to inform me.
It's been flashing up on screen as an annoying message for weeks - how have you avoided that?
I echo what Hopkirk says - almost every time we switch on in the past couple of weeks, the message about channels changing on 3 September has flashed up and needed clearing with the yellow button. No idea why yours hasn't given you that message.....
