To me, Caroline Quentin in those M&S food ads, the supposed 'hostess with the mostest' - her hair looks TERRIBLE - my wife makes an effort, or is it the trend to look scruffy these days?

No I agree with you painter, I would always make an effort and never try to look slobby, even in my comfies
what makes you think she hasnt made an effort?

painter....that is quite normal....it is the " I am a mother, got kids, Xmas coming up, got to pick them up from school, one has got a temperature, my husband is no help, I am so stressed"..look.
i,ve made an effort, dressing gown, boxers and slippers and lem sips lol!!
If you think that is terrible and scruffy then you should see mine. I absolutely loathe 'neat hair styles' and love scruffy natural looking hair on both sexes actually!!
And I like Caroline Quentin - a normal looking lady!!
How is your daughter by the way ;o)
I like the scruffy look as well. As long as they look and smell nice and clean.
I should imagine your daughter makes far more effort, eh ?
Oh, I agree ummmm, must be clean! Actually, I don't think her hair looks scruffy at all!!
jth !!!! ;o)
Who's daughter?
paintermans daughter ;o)
beattie? ;)
Painterman32's ummmm. You can't have forgotten!!
Oh yeah...lol
Isn't she trying for the "homely" look, to avoid alienating M&S's natural customer base ...

... who tend to be ... a bit ... err ...

... homely ?

=0/
Sorry, Loftie, I hadn't seen yours when I posted mine...............
lofty/ JTH

<<< should imagine your daughter makes far more effort, eh ?<<<
