I am confused too. What are slaters please?
Woodlice?
Slaters are also known as woodlice, depending where in the UK you come from.

Maybe Sid could clarify?
I can only find 'Slater' under Solid State Physics (whatever that is).

Are you there Sid to throw a bit more light on the matter?
Thanks. I'd thought perhaps he hadn't been provided tea and biscuits/sandwiches while these workmen were working on his roof

Hi. Yes Slaters are woodlice. I know that they prefer humidity but I don't understand why in my experiment I obtained drop in mass in the highest humidity solution.

Thank you for your help. I think my experiment went wrong and I will need to redo it .
Good luck Sid.
