Are There Any Compound Which Do Not Have Carbon But Still Have Long Chains In There Molecules?

I was wondering about how Unique is carbon in making long chains . And weather long chains could be formed by using other non carbonn elements...

The only other Element that can form chains of molecules is Silicon. Silicon combined with Oxygen forms compounds called silicone / silicones (with an 'e' to distinguish it from the Element Silicon ) These are what makes things like 'Silicone Rubber' 'Silicone Oil'
