Hello vakayu my pal, i am feeling much better thanks that has taken 3 weeks to recover, how are you doing?

So glad you are feeling a bit better Billy,three weeks isn't too bad going,you must be relieved about that,how is the walking and the appetite doing?

Hi Anne how are you,it is a miserable day here raining heavily most of the afternoon.

The walking is easier because my left side has healed, but still need the walking stick, my right hip and pelvis were badly damaged, i am getting used to it now, i was looking out for you through the week on AB were you on line.

Getting about with a walking stick is nothing to worry about,when you think of what could have been,that must have been a heck of an accident on the bike you had,could be a lot worse,by the sounds of it to say the least.I was online a little bit through the week Billy but not much,just obviously not at the same time as you!

Aye the surgeon did say i was an inch or 2 from being in a wheelchair, and i should be grateful that i can use a stick, do you like my new drawing, i think it is a close likeness.

There you go then,as you said be grateful it is only a walking stick you have to contend with at least you can walk,yes the drawing is very good indeed,have you a selection to choose from or just make them up as you go along?

I don't have very many now i gave most of them away, maybe i need to start drawing again, i don't do them from the top of my head, i need a picture in front of me,i am playing my guitar more often now so finding the time to draw is not easy, i know i have plenty of time, but i need to be in the mood to draw.

For a man of so many talents it must be very hard lol,just being facetious a bit,I would love to draw or paint myself,my late father used to be the same as you give him a drawing to work from and he was fine,I vequite a few wooden plaques in the house mainly birds which he did using a colourful bird book then painted them,which I treasure.Seriously though it is just as well you have so many interests and things to help pass the time.

yes since i have been of work it was hard to pass the time, my main hobbies were my motorcycle, and repairing bicycles, and music of course, it was a heartbreaking to sell my bike (Honda vfr 800cc) but so be it, i prefer drawing faces have tried other things like birds and buildings but i think need to work on those, i am not keen on painting probably because i need to be taught how.

butcher - pleased you are making such good progress. I know it may not seem like it to you but give it three months and not three weeks and I bet your progress will be amazing. like the drawings. thanks for showing them.

I find faces very difficult, so have great admiration. my paintings are rather primitive but colourful. they give me frustrating pleasure.

You have a talent there Billy,when I said painting I did not mean oils or watercolous or anything fancy like that,he used to buy those wee tins of Humbrol and used them,he used to love doing it,unfortunately he had glaucoma,causing him to lose the sight in one one and poor vision in the ohter so that put paid to that!

Yes i can be quite difficult sometimes, you have to be in the humour, at least you can paint i can't, you must be talented.
