And I'd add that you say the charity suffers, but in fact the opposite can be true, I have seen people ask where they can get a copy of the quiz as they have enjoyed the questions posted - surely that is a benefit to the charity?

If the asker had any scruples he should tell you:

Which quiz it is from
What the closing date is
Whether the quizsetter requests no cheating (some hope)

We can all live and dream!

And where in any of your questions wanting answers to quizzes, QuizmasterG, have you posted closing dates and whether or not the quizsetter requests no cheating? Are we supposed to check up on those quizzes first?

This is nonsense QuizmasterG. If someone posts a question like "What animal is this: E_EPHA_T?", we will just answer it. We don't need to know what quiz it is from and we certainly don't need to know when it closes. Only information required to answer the question should be provided.

Single questions are not a problem as you are all very well aware. It is the serial askers who need to provide the info i.e.

"I am a little stuck on the following 20 questions from a local quiz / girl at work / overheard in the pub"

Rather than "these are from the ...... charity quiz which close on May 32nd 2012 - can anyone help please?"

At least some honesty is shown rather than trying to con people into giving answers.

There's not much chance of that Quizmaster especially from those who ask 20 to 30 from the same quiz that doesn't finish for ages. I notice we have had no input from the asker.

I have NEVER objected to questions being asked on here (or anywhere else) .... I have objected to the manner, timing or number asked.

You still haven't answered my question about whether you have ever included in your questions either a closing date or whether the setter is ok with it being posted online. Particularly on that 2nd point, it doesn't matter if it's 1 question or 100. A quick check through your history of questions suggests that the answer is no.

its the same as asking someone to solve anagrams when they could use universal anagram

But that is the whole point of this site. To answer questions for others. I just find it staggering that people who are so opposed to the site seem to constantly hover around in the background waiting to pounce one anyone who dares to aks a question.

Surely, finding a hobby would be a more productive use of your time?

Answerbank is just another tool for completing quizzes in my mind.
