I thought 25a was VENDORS, (people who sell door to door) but this does not fit with 13d ELOQUENTLY. many thanks

Pedlars
pedlars ?
try PEDLARS
this was answered yesterday as PEDLARS
what letters cross over 25a from eloquently, could it be peddler
A vendor is someone who sell anything, anywhere at any time, not just door to door.
I would have said Hawkers.
we had sellers I think
pedlars seemed the consensus yesterday
both fit in so pedlars is prob better
