Is anyone doing the Connecting Wall puzzle competition? I'm stuck on the pink grid and happy to share ideas.

I've got 5 types of rubbish and 5 to do with darts (Bull fits in both)
Then 5 measures of pressure, leaving card and mushroom which don't seem to tie in with anything

Hi All, Thanks for your replies; oceantrader, I have EXACTLY the same as you, and can't think of anything to connect card and mushroom or any of the other possible 'spares'. You okay with the other grids?

'Wild' goes with card & mushroom, but it's a stretch to make it fit with anything else

this is only a stab but moonshine and mushroom are both
"theories" and possibly so are bar and card . good luck. hope this helps .

I am also strugling with the last grid.
I have 5 Rihanna songs but I think one of them (Umbrella) goes into my second group - words which can follow cocktail. I then have numerious dances plus "freestanding", "farmhouse" and "cottage". Any clues?

I agree with what you've got so far; for the fourth group I have suffixed your 3 plus one of the dances with a part of the house. Hope that helps.

Oceantrader is on to something with darting terms - shanghai is a single, double and a treble on one number. You should all remember bed from Bullseye ("Keep out of the Black and in the Red, Nothing in this game for two in a BED")

Just spotted the thread on Radio Times Only Connect which I was asking about! I was sure that BAR CARD MUSHROOM & BED are linked by MUSHROOM. Also in wall 1 there are about 7 names connected with wrestlers that might have to be factored in.

I agree enafalready, It's not a really definive connection, but it does just about work and it's all I can see at the moment Anybody else out there got any thoughts?
