Most of us realise gulliver that at some point you have to allow the economy to open up again and for people to come out from under the stairs and interact with others outside their household and try to manage the virus as best we can. 5000 excess deaths a week was too high a figure. At what point would you want the lockdown to end and the economy to be allowed to restart so we can afford to pay for the NHS and public services? When no-one is dying? 100 a week? 100 a day?
Lets not forget the pensioner Tom. Lets not forget the retired doctors and nurses who returned back to the NHS to help save the lives of younger people. Its not taken long for things to turn sour. :0(
