Queen Nicola is spouting again...she can kick and scream all she likes another referendum requires Westminster approval and Teresa May made it very clear last week that she is taking the UK through brexit in its entirety...that the UK is staying the UK....do shut up Nicola ..you should concentrate on running Holyrood and not trying to glorify yourself with...

Yes, and when Scotland leaves the UK and joins the EU in it's own right there will be two land borders with UK and the EU. Northern Ireland and the Republic and England / Scotland.
Always assuming that all 27 countries want Scotland to join.
You really ought to read your own link material occasionally, TTT. The opening words are, "A CONSULTATION gets under way on PLANS for a second independence referendum."
A "consultation on plans" hardly seems terribly immediate, does it? The First Minister has repeatedly said that there will be no second referendum until polling shows that a majority of the Scottish electorate actually favours independence. She has even suggested that she would hope that majority would be 60% rather than just 51%. So stop panicking!

I'm beginning to believe that you are actually infatuated with the lady, despite your ungentlemanly way of referring to her, rather like a schoolboy tugging a girl's pigtails when he is really rather fond of her!
I mis-read your OP as saying Jeremy K - and wondered what on earth the forthright shouty misery-fest host was up to now!
She is a very good orator :-)
On BBC just now, the referendum bill will be published next week.
She will never stop. OK plans at the moment but you dont make plans for fun.
No Ann she is not.

Good orators are Hitler, Livingstne(Ken), Farage. She is not in that league at all.

no need QM, wee shoggy is determined that you fall under the EU jackboot. It may be consultative but that is all she cares about so pretty soon you'll be a nation of nobodies shafted by Juncker and co. Yes we have to build a hard border eddie, to keep out the scottish that don't share her vision for an enslaved Scotland.
Foundations are already there TTT
If the Scots get a second referendum, vote to leave the UK – and leave – and are then refused membership of the EU, in what sort of a situation will that put them?
Question Author
oddly enough naomi they would actually be independent in that scenario.
Question Author
the basic problem with your sw34t1es is that they hate the English above all else so to wee shoggy and the like being subjugated to any other outfit is preferable.
Build a 'Hard' border with Scotland !!!! Have you the remotest idea how impractical that is ??? .( more like impossible !) Have you ever been around the border area do you know the open country and the hills?
TTT, //oddly enough naomi they would actually be independent in that scenario.//

Indeed - but independence at what price?
naomi the EU commission has already said that in the event of an independent Scotland a request to join the EU would be looked on 'favorably'
Wee shoggy. :-))
Eddie, when did they say that?

hard border...it's been done before eddie!
"naomi the EU commission has already said that in the event of an independent Scotland a request to join the EU would be looked on 'favorably' " - No 5h1t Sherlock! once they bend over and take all the conditions their new masters impose. I can just imagine them having another referendum for leaving the EU in 10 years time!
