How To Be An Answerer?

I have usually completed the Daily Telegraph Crossword and weekend Prize versions by 4:00am having received the newspaper electronically a couple of hours beforehand. Finding myself in the position to post the answers before most folk have woken to their hard copies, I am happy to oblige. However, how do I post answers to questions yet to be asked and how can I receive notification when someone is stuck? In other words, what is the most efficient technique you veterans adopt in answering questions?

But you two were so fast in answering! Are you sitting on your iPADs 24/7?
Laptop, waiting for the DT to post today's crosswords. Still showing yesterday's.

Ok, but I finished today's some hours ago. How do I know when someone wants an answer? Is there a specific screen I need to loiter on? Sorry to bother you with this by the way - I am grateful for your assistance!
The requests will come under Latest Posts.
May I ask how you have finished today's crosswords?.The DT website is still showing yesterday's
When you go to a question it is always worth scrolling down to see what answers have already been given; that way you don't repeat answers that have already been posted hours or even days earlier.
Telegraph iPad app(subscription) comes online between 2am and 3am at weekends later during the week
Thanks Dickie.

I don't wait for BD's DT Blog, I get the downloaded crossword about 2:00am ish, sometimes later. Today it was early and done by 4:00am.
Question Author
Yes, Dickie's explanation is correct.
Hi nhf7 don't you think posting all the answers would detract from the pleasure of solving crosswords in the first place.
Question Author
Yes Dickie, I don't see the merit in giving the lot away so easily. I simply wanted to know how to provide answers when called for. I think I have cracked that, I just wait on the "latest posts" on the right. Thanks to all, I hope to now contribute (responsibly) to questions. NHF7 (Neil).
Hi NHF7, I don't mean to be rude, but, has it taken from Apr 2011 for you to work this out? Just curious
