Finding An Address

Is there any way I can find out someone's address (yes it is a Christmas card). I have a partial address - road, district, town - but not the number of the house and it is a long road so no other way to recognise. Help would be appreciated.

If you know the house by sight, try google earth, street view and it might show you the number.

I tried 192.com but they could not find it. I am now going to try dicky's idea and see if I can be more successful.
