Come and live with me ...lol When my elderly neighbour next door died over a year ago her daughter sold the house and a young chap moved in. We're semi detached. He moved in last March and since then I don't think a day has gone by ,apart from Christmas day, when we are not entertained by whining drills, hammering and banging and all sorts of noise.Tonight we were...
Brilliant, considering we only moved early this year, when I came home from Hospital following my accident in May they helped out with dog walking, they have their own dogs, and if it looked like I was going to be left alone either the wife or one of the teenage kids came over to Baldric sit.
They're nice people.
they have been like this since they moved in, often doing hoovering late at night, playing loud music to all hours. I have complained to the council but got nowhere.
I have always had good neighbours here even though the ones either side of me have died at a young age. You don't want to move next door to me because your days might be numbered
I'm still friends with the neighbours I met when I bought my first house in 1971......and the same with the next lot of neighbours when I moved........they were all fantastic....
The ones I have now are great...so friendly and helpful.....
I've only had one cranky neighbour in all those years......and that was her fault......☺
emmie I am not going to argue with you but Camden website mentions construction ending at 6pm unless risk to persons and then contractors have to contact the council. DIY is different to contractors and construction.
I would also have knocked on doors at 10pm if I had lost my beloved pets.
