People are creatures of habit. My hubby is such. If he comes home with bunch of flowers and bubbly there will be an announcement of sorts. last time it was a new job for him. today he came home with said flowers and TWO bottles of bubbly, and tried sneaking them in the fridge whilst I wasnt looking. Pretended not to notice. Gave me floer thankyou darling. Said I had to collect son from club at 8.30. Oh, cant you have a drink? When I get back.Got back. He opened first bottle, then half hour later was amost asleep due to being so shattered. Went to bed - no announcement!! So what was all the bubbly for??
Prudie, I would be an excellent guest on Jeremey Kyle!
CD - well I didnt want to spoil his thunder, as it were, so I just said ohh bubbly- must have been a good day at work! but nothing was said
Sorry, cross posted. Steal his thunder? Surely if it was some big surprise he'd have told you immediately. A man can hardly walk in with flowers and champagne and not say what it's for - can he?
Don't know how old you are Smow, but I would sort sort my head out and ask what I wanted. Don't allow him all the decisions. You are your OWN person. Don't be afraid to be alone.
