The Kremlin has denied that Putin is ill, so he definitely is then.
12:15 Tue 24th Oct 2023

Don't throw your hat in the air until everybody is completely convinced.

The Russians have been known to fib a bit about the health of their leaders.

Since the Ukraine/Russia war began, every news item that I've seen, regarding Putin's health, has been negative. It almost looks as if someone is trying to portray Putin as being almost at the last gasp.

> The reported heart attack, which is yet to be independently confirmed, is said to have seriously spooked Putin's inner circle.

In one short sentence, we have: "reported", "yet to be independently confirmed" and "said to have". What kind of newspaper is this?

Still, we live in hope ...

Let's hope it's not too trivial.

Woohoo 🤣

Al Jazeera aren't reporting it.

Problem is when hes gone it creates a power vacuum and some of those waiting in the wings make putin look like a soft limp wristed liberal....

I followed "General SVR" on Telegram for a while but came to the conclusion that he was a wind-up and I think so have most of the "main stream" media. Some of his anecdotes have been very amusing.

If it's true and he dies I'll be cracking open the champagne, but frankly I don't believe it.

Agreed Bazwillrun. Be careful what you wish for.

Yes it is a huge mistake to think that it's Putin the baddie and that there are a bunch of less bad people waiting to take over.

Nonetheless ... :-)

Naa, think it through, Putin has dropped a rowlock. The new man may well be worse but he can blame it all on Putin and repair relations with the west.

I'll wait until the BBC report it.

O god you should see ( again poss) The Death of Stalin.

all the english clearly had fun going it - they were encouraged to use English regional accents ( ay oop lad) to underline how proletarian and diverse the politburo was.

dont believe a word....

other slav nasties queue up ( Itch)

Yes Teresa de Avila - she thay - 1580

there have been more problems from prayers answered.....

( and by god sir she was a prayer - crawling around on her knees clacking a rosary)

I'll wait.  Next may be worse.

There have been previous reports of a Putin heart attack. One in May proved to have been an AI generated image that was totally fake.

And there have been reports of a planned coup to get rid of Putin by Kremlin insiders. The method was to induce a heart attack.

I hope Putin is replaced, but we will have to wait and see.

Couldn't happen to a finer man - there are excellent heart hospitalin both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv if he has a valid credit card or a gold bar or three.

He ought to remember the old adage, 'If an Ukrainian chases you to the bank of the Dnipro River filled with Hamas or Jewish crocodiles, you will leap into the water, convinced you have a chance to swim to the other side - and have a heart attack from the fright of what has just happened.'

And one can ask does 'Vlad the Sad Putain' actually have a heart?

If prayers were answered he would have been dead a long time ago.
