(Pesco) the other day. You'd think it would be big news, wouldn't you? (well I would)
It was done so quietly most google answers will still tell you we ain't in it. We didn't even join it when we were in the EU.
So the treachery begins.

According to the articles I've seen, this is not cooperation, which can be done without joining anything, it's signing up to an EU driven military group thus giving control of our force to them; which is something Brexit was supposed to prevent. It seems to me that Liz has proven that she is still a staunch remainer and a poor choice as leader of the Tory party.

Cooperating with the EUSSR on a variety of things is a good idea, that's what we joined in 1973.
A top brexiteer says its a good idea in the article
Brexit does not mean we cannot have a friendly mutually beneficial cooperation in a variety of areas.

Does anyone else think our PM has a kind of a vacant look about her? It's a look I associate with people who aren't 'quite right', not 'all there', if you know what I mean.
Once a Remainer always a Remainer. I don't trust her.
We will just have to rip up any agreement and unjoin it as soon as someone sane gets to be PM.

(And there were reports on the Web, saw a number of them at YouTube.)
Yes, BIW, but later in the article, David Banks fears the move is part of a slippery slope to joining an EU army.

Oh well, if TTT and a Top Brexiteer think it's a good idea.
There was me thinking it might be a slippery slope.

I'm not David Banks. That was a pure coincidence. ;-)
No doubt about it the UK will have re-join the EU in order to survive . The UK has already proved it can not stand alone.

That's not a great argument for it, imho.
Does anyone know why some persist in stating the opposite of what is clearly reality ? Surely the joke wears off after a bit ?

You'll have to be nice about Liz now, Gulliver.
Liz Truss warned she could be.
could be.

is this the day where the usual suspects on AB go maaaaaaaad?

(madder than they are I mean)

when the facts change I change my mind: what do you do?

The big change is the campaign in Ukraine ( or Russia depending on your point of view)

I suspect remainer MPs left little real option for members to vote on.
The devil is in the detail, which I can't find anywhere, but fundamentally the idea is sound, especially given current Russian aggression.

so I agree with the idea, just need to see how it will work now.
