Furthermore have these ‘Wokes’ got nothing better to do with their time than complain, ? What a pile of sad sacs we live amongst , and when will companies like Argos stop kowtowing to them
I am with you bobby, all this woman/men malarkey but I am quite lucky in that I am coming to the end of my life span and will leave the world in a confused, angry, confrontational state with which I cannot undertand. What is this "counselling" for kids who have got poor grades in their exams? Never had that in my day and I have seen little evidence that counselling...
Quote "Seems changes used to happen without being put on Twitter, Facebook etc etc etc."
Perhaps because Twitter, Facebook etc (and Answerbank) didn't exist. Would the world be worse off if everybody and anybody couldn't spout off whatever comes into their heads so easily?
country is going to pot, wokery crime illegal migrants spiralling utility prices, on a funny note..i remember back in the day.. every other word was yea man, cool man far out man.
I blame Meghan Markle, she started it all by writing to Proctor Gamble to complain about their advert about fairy liquid as it depicted that only women do the washing up. Apparently they changed the dialogue.
If it hadn't been posted in the 'newspaper' 99.99% of people wouldn't even have noticed, and 99.999% of people who did wouldn't care. The Daily Mail yet again telling people what they should be outraged about .
Fair enough, but I believe my point stands - if in 3 months time you had just casually read "two person delivery" on an Argos product then I don't think you would feel as sick as you do now after being wound up by the Daily Mail.
I get that, and I think a lot of the gender stuff I think is ridiculous too.. But I personally don't find "two person delivery" to be anywhere near the worst of it. And I don't believe many people would even notice or care about this if it wasn't pointed out to them by the DM in language designed to invoke emotion.
