I stand by my words, many would much rather see it all come crushing down and Harry come running back to Daddy tail between legs. The cries of "I told you so" will be deafening from some quarters.
I have no idea of the context of Meghan's quote, so I can't comment on it (context is all important when replying to any statement. It's so easy to take only a portion a quote and be able to add a completely different context to it, wouldn't you say?).
You've shown yourself to have distaste towards all things woke in the paste, including climate change, equality and diversity, so of course you're not going to be happy to see yet another celebrity couple find a platform to campaign for these sort of things. Plus you have no idea if their ideas for shows will bring "inspiration and hope", they won't to you, as you do not share their standpoint, but to others, it may do just that (Neither do I of course, that's a case of wait and see).
As you state, the final paragraph is your opinion, one you're completely entitled to. I don't share your viewpoint, mainly because I don't really care enough to pay them much attention. As I said previously, royal matters are not high on my list of priorities when it comes to following the news. All I see is a young couple trying to be happy and self efficient. Good luck to anyone from the Royal Family who want to break off and do their own thing. Less for us to have to pay for.
Sadly for Bobbs/ILM, I'll pick a BA according to my preference on a thread I started. I'll stick with one that shares my viewpoint in this instance.
