Men's ears never stop growing. Hence, they have big ears.

I was thinking I'd stop getting No 2 razor cuts. It'll make no difference if the ears just grow and grow.
..... and hairier :-)
Sandy....if you're worried that your ears are large.....just make a feature of them..... :-)

Doesn't the nose keep growing as well?
"When we age, the collagen and elastin fibers that make up cartilage begin to break down. This causes them to stretch and sag, making them appear longer. Our skin giving structural support to cartilage, also contains collagen and elastin fibers that droop over time. This compounds the lengthening problem.

Drooping isn’t the only cause to the appearance of larger ears and noses. The surrounding areas of the face, like your cheeks and lips, lose volume over time. The result is the appearance of larger organs next to them.

All of this drooping and stretching does cause our ears and noses to lengthen. Studies have shown that ears elongate by .22 millimeters per year. This elongation-to-age ratio is so exacting, it can be used by forensic scientists to determine the approximate age of a person."

Oh God! Thechair. Sounds dreadful, I hope Mr.Sam doesn't have that happen to him. Although I have to say I have noticed a few more hairs than he used to have.
If they do then Alexander Armstrong's in for a hard time.
I'll type that one more time.

they are cartilage - the floppy bit and so they never stop growing
What an interesting post ( the chair) :-)
I am over 70 and honestly have not noticed any alteration in the shape of size of my ears ? I don't see honestly why this should be.
Ears aren't the only things that 'sprout' as old age creeps up on you. See BillyConnolly's take on nose-hair
don't know about ear growth but hair growth on/in ears seems to increase the older i get
Sandy I posted about this some time back. In my personal opinion - yes the ears definitely do get bigger. Also I have noticed women's ears getting larger too. Unfortunately as the ears get bigger the hearing gets less LOL.
