What are your thoughts on this brand new annual event?

Is it:

a) a great way of picking up bargains before Christmas
b) a cynical exploitation of the gullible
c) a sad import from the U.S. like the bastardisation of Halloween
d) very racist (why isn't there a White Friday???)

Note...d) is a joke.

When the the big stores open their doors and the first hundred or so customers rush in , then you realise why it is called Black Friday.
