Why on earth is this child given air time? If he carries on like this next month the world could be at its end by March He obviously has a huge ego but a teeny tiny amount of common sense.

//it is to do with his unsuitability for the office to which he is going to be elected. //

I could be wrong, but he's been elected already, hasn't he?
It is not fake news I repeat. What is the news? That the president and president elect were handed documents containing allegations made by people including a a British intelligence professional.
Now, it may be that the document is a load of rubbish, but the news report is accurate.
mushroom - Slip of the keyboard, I meant to say the office to which he has been elected.
Naomi - //andy-hughes, //Being a boorish thin-skinned nasty xenophobic chauvinistic stupid bully ...//

I'm guessing you're not keen on him then. ;o) //

I'm shocked you would think that!

I am putting him forward for a 'Role Model Of The Year' Award!!!!
ichkeria - //Now, it may be that the document is a load of rubbish, but the news report is accurate. //

That's the sort of semantics that Mr Trump doesn't deal with - or rather, he didn't deal with, until now!
/// Being a boorish thin-skinned nasty xenophobic chauvinistic stupid bully may have got him the post - but it will not assist him in keeping it. ///

Now there is a collection of very rude personal insults from one who likes to give the impression that he is above such things.

I have no wish to give the impression that I am above some fulsome terminology in describing a public figure who revels in creating such a persona.

Where I draw the line is if such terms, or similar, at levelled at contributors on this site who are merely expressing a viewpoint - that of course is completely unacceptable.

I am sure you are more than aware of the difference here.
Apparently the MI 6 agent involved has left his home fearing that he may be killed.Make of that what you will, did he report truthfully?
There are a lot of things that Trump has not dealt with : first he claimed the hacking could have been teenagers in their bedrooms, then it was the Chinese. Now he admits that it was Russia. And under pressure claimed he could be at least as hard on Putin as Clinton could have been .
If I was a betting man I'd say those latest allegations had a fair bit of truth in them. We know that the Czechoskovak secret police monitored Trump in the days of Ivana so how unlikely is it that the FSB would have had the cameras rolling - someone of course may be taking the *** ;-)
Well look what happened to Litvinenko his old associate
Are you seriously posting this

To defend this?

The latest allegations about Trump are not 'fake news'
They contain unsubstantiated allegations which may or may not be true, but that isn't the same thing.

Unbelievable.
Exactly how many apprenticeships are have been given out?

I think he may well implode before he even gets to the white house .
What Mr Trump has either not been told (unlikely) or has been told and ignored (highly likely) - is that rising to every single spurious rumour floated his way is going to have to direct consequences -

The first is that he is going to be so busy huffing and puffing with self-righteous fury that he is never going to have time to do any presidenting.

The second is that the message that he can be provoked seriously easily is simply going to ensure that the provocateurs simply up their actions by several notches.

Mr Trump needs to familiarise himself with the concept of Presidential Dignity and put it into practice a.s.a.p. - today would be good.
The Leftie establishment will go to any lengths to bring this man down even if some of the things he is being accused of are true then although to most of us they are unacceptable he won't be the first person in high office to possess so many skeletons in their cupboards.

Clinton and what took place in the Oval Office.

J F Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe.

Bobby Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe

Ted Kennedy's Car Accident

Watergate

That is before we mention our own, alleged Westminster Child abuse scandal.

All very interesting AOG but, the interest at the moment is Trump, deflecting to previous presidents achieves nothing .
And publishing uncorroborated stories achieves what, anne?
AOG - who you list knew how to behave in front of an audience. Trump is getting a hard time for not knowing how to do that.

What officials do in private is of no interest to most people.
Talbot....... A Trump meltdown.
AOG - as advised, the past deeds of past public figures are not relevant here.

And as I have pointed out, this is not about 'the Left' trying to discredit Mr Trump, the point is that he is doing an excellent job of discrediting himself with no assistance from anyone of any political persuasion.

Unless Mr trump realises that the campaign is over, and the job is about to begin, he is simply not going to last the course.
Talbot - //And publishing uncorroborated stories achieves what, anne? //

No-one has published uncorrobraed stories - they have simply implied that such stories might exist.

For a normal politician, that would signal the need to say nothing, and let the non-story wither and die.

But Mr Trump is not a politician, and shows no sign of becoming one any time soon, which, as President-Elect, is being seen as something of a problem.
