Did not think Theresa May performed very well at PMQs today, think her problem is when she started shouting at the opposition she put on her thatcher serpent mask, she looked just as evil as TOC did ,when she was PM.

Was it a body double perhaps?

AGC Yes.
I think Mrs May will stamp her authority with her no nonsense approach. She has some very challenging issues to deal with but hey, isn't that why she is PM?

We need a strong leader with a clear vision that stands up to European resentment as well as dealing with the key issues in the UK.

Early days, including PMQ's.At least she didn't start the new job by reading emails out as Corbyn did!

I think that May will run rings round Corbyn in the House (assuming it's not going to be Owen!)

Theresa May's biggest mistake was letting Boris into her cabinet , he will be her downfall , he will stab her in the back, just like one of Thatchers MPs did, think it was Mr G Howe!.
Time will tell Gulliver!

If it happens,I'm sure there will be a little reshuffle..
She came over as a very shouty woman.

Her problem with this new plan to put education back 50 years, will be trying to sell it first to her own Party, and then to the House of Lords. It could very well be her Poll Tax.
I don't think gulliver could find a good word to say about Mrs May or Boris or DC if they saved a baby from drowning ag.

All Tories Bad.
Not all LB, there are some very sensible Tories. But, as I said, her problem will trying to convince those Tories to support the re-introduction Grammar Schools.
Mikey > could very well be her Poll Tax.

You'd advocate her not venturing north of the border then?!
What...to visit her only MP ?....hardly seems worth the effort !

She sounds so like thatcher !!!!
Mikey - did you read Peter Hitchen's column on Sunday about the Grammar School issue? He's a big fan of May's proposal.

Why should those very clever boys and girls be held back by the Comprehensive system? Madness he said.
> She sounds so like thatcher !!!!

Bound to serve three terms then..
I believe it was Harold Wilson who said, "Grammar schools will be abolished over my dead body".

Then again, consistency has never been Labour's strong point.
Not really. Harold Wilson is dead.
...but they were largely scrapped during the 70s when he was very much alive.
lets see, anti British lefty thinks Tory PM did poorly in PMQs! PMSL, rub me down with the socialist worker!
Agchristie.....if Comprehensive Schools are holding bright kids back, why are so many more going to College now, than in the 50's and 60's ?

By the way, I am in no way surprised that Peter Hitchen holds such views !
A quick glance at what they are 'studying' will answer Mikey's question.
