I had to check the date on the calendar this morning when I read this !

Farage giving advice ? On what exactly ? How not to get elected and how to lose one of your only MPs?

You couldn't make it up.

So funny. How many of Trump's supporters even know what brexit is/was? They would applaud a monkey who shared a stage with Trump . ll

Still, I suppose we can take some comfort from noting that if Trump is indeed anything like Farage, he'll resign instantly as soon as he wins the election.

Khandro.....09:06... "he's no loser, having gained everything he has worked for the last 20 years"

Really ?

Everything except "break the mould of British politics".....Get more than one UKIP MP in Parliament....and most importantly of all....get himself a seat in aforesaid Parliament.

And he is giving advice to Trump ?
Plus he's still drawing his salary as an MEP.
If he had any principles he would stand down now he's got what he wanted.
He's a political trollop and a hypocrite .
If I were Trump I would have waited to see how Article 50 played out. Mind you if I was Donald Trump I would have self-combusted years ago.

Shaney....got it in one there !
shaneystar2, I disagree. Why should he stand down? He was elected to do a job. He’s doing it.
Mikey, if he's such a nonentity why does he scare you so much?
"He was elected to do a job. He’s doing it."

He's only doing it half the time, though. Farage has one of the worst attendance records of any MEP.

And?
Well, I'd suggest that he's not therefore "doing the job" that he was elected to do...
I imagine his remit has now changed somewhat - but why is he still bothering people so much?

One answer might be that some people are jealous that he had a grand on at 7/2 to beat the bookies on the Brexit vote!

Now? No... this poor attendance has been a habit of Farage's time as an MEP since he started in the role. It's not a recent thing.
Don't worry about it, Jim. Our MEPs will be a thing of the past soon.

Soon Naomi? I see no sign of progress to exit the EU as yet.
anneasquith, how 'soon' do you think 'soon' is?
I have no idea Naomi, it's you who said soon. I wonder what your interpretation of " soon " is ?
anneasquith, I've no idea either.... but soon. ;o)
