I understand the disquiet regarding Halal slaughter and a belief that it is wrong, mainly because there is no compulsion to stun; but her argument is all over the place. She has made errors in her indignation and so made a fool of herself. The problem is that someone full of anger and emotion has been put into a position of spokeswoman when the role needs someone...

Well she would have felt at home at that venue as BF are used to getting slaughtered!

Lots of critics going for the jugular!
jourdain2....

Much as I would like to think that this sorry affair was all about the rights and/or wrongs of slaughterhouse procedures, it was abundantly obvious that it was only about an attack on Islamic culture, by an organisation that was showing its racist and fascist credentials, in the worst possible light.

/// And we both agree, I think, that this invasion of a perfectly legitimate business wasn't justified. ///

Any different from the 'invasion' of military establishments by Ban the Bomb groups, the 'invasion' of various establishments by Animal Rights Groups, the 'invasion' of ships at sea by Green Peace, the 'invasion' of private land by the League Against Cruel Sports etc, etc?

/// So if BF were so concerned for the welfare of animals in slaughterhouses, they would also be protesting at Jewish places, but for some reason or other, they choose to restrict their violent protests to Muslim ones exclusively ! ///

Perhaps they didn't want to step on the Left's toes too much, by leaving any protests at Jewish places, to the experts ie members of the Labour Party?
I think it is intimidating and I'm sure employees find it intimidating.

Is it a legitimate form of protest? When the intimidation crosses into harassment then no and you would expect the police to act accordingly.

As to AOG's point, irrespective of which organisation is protesting, the above still applies.

This video is nearly 15mins long and is part 1 of 2. The bozo in it tries to justify his barbarity by pulling the sheeps ears over it's eyes and say a prayer. He tries to convince the viewer the sheep almost goes into a serene dream and is content.
I would like to see him react if his hair was pulled over his face ,a short prayer recited and then having his throat cut.
You can access the muslim code of Halal meat slaughter and its good practise but then you can also access halal abbatoirs in the UK where secret cameras prove this practise goes out the window.
Incidentally. If halal meat isn't butchered to their cruel practise then the meat is not judged halal. I wonder how many Muslims choose to ignore that as well!!

I agree, but my point is that the left will not use my examples to pull their left-wing groups down, but are quick to use protests such as this to try and support their own agenda.
^ Fair comment AOG.
