I guess it's difficult, but being in the public eye and found guilty of (or even just on trial for) something can't excuse you from being tried for anything else ever again ...

Yes, I'm sure that the judge will direct the jury that the previous case should be disregarded and that they are only to consider the evidence from the new trial.

All the Court now has to do is find 12 people that have never heard of Rolf Harris, and don't know that he is a convicted paedophile....should be easy !

I hope we are not going to have yet another group of attention seeking middle-aged women claiming how their lives have been ruined by having their bottoms touched when they were 15. As RH is an already convicted criminal, he is now a pretty easy target.
Meanwhile, the grooming, drugging and gang-raping of vulnerable children is surely continuing unabated.

I cannot answer any of the above, but my guess is that there is a common link.....somewhere, be it genetic or biochemical.

Difference at the moment is that the first two are legal and the last one illegal ( at the moment.)

sqad; Also, the illegality or otherwise, depends on where you are, until recently the age of consent in Spain was 13 (now 16), but other European countries have different ages; Austria, Germany, Portugal and Italy it is 14, and in France, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Greece it is 15.
When I was a teenager I could tell the difference between girls ages to a year, and I suppose the youths of today can do the same, but now I cannot tell the difference between a 14 and 20 year old (not that it matters!).

I remember some girls of 17yrs of age turning up to the 6th form dance in their school blazers, but clearly this is a thing of the past.
