As you have already said this morning, what a load of old rubbish Naomi !
It's a mystery. I can only assume similar to what Svejk said, that people who've always supported them but never actually signed up to membership, are rallying behind the cause because they see it in crisis.
There are "Lies, damned lies, and statistics", I just don't believe it I'm afraid!
It must be contagious...Labour says that 20,000 people have joined the party since Thursday night, taking the membership to 221,247. Some 60% of the new members are under 35.
I can't find a reference to that^. Do you have a link?

And the first reason given may well explain partly the reason for the LibDem surge
Hope no one joined UKIP for that reason: they'll be wanting their money back :-)
